1.) What is the Stockyards Championship Rodeo?

*The Stockyards Championship Rodeo is a Live full Rodeo with all of the traditional Rodeo Event:

Friday Events: Bull Riding, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing.

Saturday Events: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing.

2.) Where is the Stockyards Championship Rodeo held, and how do I get there?

*The Stockyards Championship Rodeo is held in the Historic Cowtown Coliseum:

3.) What time does the Stockyards Championship Rodeo start & end?

*The Rodeo starts on Friday & Saturday nights at 8:00 pm and lasts for approximately 2 hours.

4.) What is the price for admission to the Stockyards Championship Rodeo?

5.) What time should we arrive to find parking and our seats?

*The doors open to the Coliseum at 6:30. Most people arrive between 7:00 & 8:00.

6.) Where do I park?

*There are many different parking lots located in the Stockyards close to our building. Billy Bob's Texas is just a two step away with large parking lots, and a quick walk down Rodeo Plaza to our front door.

7.) Should I buy my Tickets in advance and how can I do that?

*Anyone can buy tickets in advance online at Stockyardsrodeo.com, Ticketmaster.com or over the phone with a credit card.

8.) How do I arrange for Handicapped seating?

*Anyone who needs handicapped seating needs to go to the box office out in front, they will be able to help you in the building.

9.) How many people fit in a box seat, and can my group sit together in the box seats?

*The box seats hold 6 people, 3 in the front row, and 3 in the back row. If you have more then 6 people and would like to sit in the Box Seats you will be placed in boxes that are side by side, so that you can all sit together.

10.) How many people do I need to sit in the VIP?

*Anyone can sit in the VIP section, it's the club seating located at the south end of the arena, above the roping chutes. They have tables and bar stools, with a full service wait staff and bar.

11.) How far in advance can I order tickets?

*You can order tickets as far out as 3 months in advance for the Stockyards Championship Rodeo. You may call at any time to see about ordering tickets for Holiday Rodeos or Special Events.

12.) Are the tickets I order mailed out?

*Tickets are not mailed out, they are held at the Coliseum Box Office under the first and last name on the credit card you used to place your order.

13.) Who can pick up my ticket order?

*Tickets are held under the first and last name on the credit card used, this is the only person allowed to pick up the tickets. You must present a picture ID that matches the name on the credit card. NO one else will be ale to pick up your tickets.

14.) Can I cancel my tickets?

*Once a ticket order is processed there are no refunds.

15.) How do I book a group, and how many people do I need in order to receive a group discount?

*You can book a group order at any time over the phone. You will need 20 or more people to receive a group discount. For more information or booking please call: 817-625-1025

16.) How far in advance do I need to book a group if I want to have a catered meal?

*You will need to book a catered dinner at least 10 days in advance.

17.) Can I have a Birthday Party at the Rodeo?

*You can have a birthday party at the rodeo for anyone. You my bring a birthday cake to share with your group, but that is the only outside item you may bring. The Birthday person will also be welcomed and wished a happy birthday by the announcer during the Rodeo. If you would like to make arrangements for a party please contact: Jill@cowtowncoliseum.com

18.) How can I use my coupons?

*You must use all coupons and press passes at the Coliseum Box Office in person when buying your tickets.

19.) How can I use my Certificate?

*You must call in advance to redeem your certificate over the phone. Just pick the date you would like to come and the name you would like the tickets left under and make sure to bring the certificate with you when picking up your tickets.

20.) Is the Rodeo kid friendly?

*The Stockyards Championship Rodeo provides family fun for kids of all ages, including getting the kids involved with a calf scramble.

21.) Can we smoke inside the building or in VIP?

*There is no smoking any where in the building, at any time.

22.) Where can we have alcohol?

*You may have beer in the general admission and box seats, you may have beer, wine, & mixed drinks in the VIP area only.

23.) Can we buy tickets at the door?

*You may buy your tickets at the Box Office the night of the event, but reserved seats are not guaranteed, most reserved seats sell out prior to the event. General Admission tickets are available at the Box Office.

24.) Can we come and go during the Rodeo?

*Once you enter the Rodeo your ticket will be torn in half, and when you leave the building your hand is stamped so that you will be allowed to renter the building, but you must have a hand stamp to renter.
