That's right folks, the Bulls, Bands, & Barrels will be in Fort Worth, TX for ONE NIGHT ONLY on September 2nd at the Cowtown Coliseum! We have taken the rodeo world and turned it upside down with our new concept. We will have some of the rankest bulls and bull riders in the Southeast as well as some of the fastest equines to ever go around a 3-barrel pattern. On the music end of the arena, we will have great country music by Tanner Usrey & MORE to finish the night off with a bang! This will be the ONE event you don't want to miss!!

Doors open at 5:30pm, pre-party with Colin Stough at 6:00pm with the show starting at 7:00pm. Tanner Usrey to follow!

Rodeo 101: Bareback Riding: Cowboys ride bareback on the horse and use a rigging, which looks like a heavy piece of leather with a suitcase handle. The cowboys ride one-handed and cannot touch themselves or the horse with their free hand. The mark-out rule is in effect. This means the bronc rider must have the rowels of both spurs in front of the break of the bronc's shoulders on its first move out of the chute. The rider's feet must still be in this position when the bronc's front feet hit the ground for the first time. Both the riders and the horses are judged. Cowboys are judged on their control, spurring technique, how much his toes remain turned out while he is spurring and his ability to adapt to whatever happens during the ride. The horses are judged on their power, speed, and agility. The cowboy must ride for eight seconds. Interested in seeing this action in person? Rodeo 101- Breakaway Roping: The contestant has a rope with a flag (or bandanna) at its end tied to her saddle horn by a nylon string. Upon entering the “box” and backing into position, the roper nods for the release of her calf. If she doesn’t break the barrier and catches her calf, the roper will bring her horse to a stop, causing the rope to break away from the saddle horn. This break away action exposes the flag, alerting the judge to stop the clock.
